David is thrilled to announce that the Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG 2023 has officially been bottled.
This marks a milestone as the first vintage to be fully managed and produced onsite by our dedicated winemaking team — a moment of great pride. The wine spent nearly 12 months aging in oak, exceeding the DOCG Superiore minimum requirement of six months. This extended maturation has resulted in a beautifully expressive and refined wine. It will now rest further in bottle, allowing it to settle, integrate, and develop added roundness.
Every detail of the packaging has been carefully considered to enhance the overall experience, from the tactile feel of the bottle to the materials chosen for the capsule and cork. As an example Diam corks have been used for their consistency and reliability, ensuring the wine maintains its integrity over time and in the bottle.
This is just the beginning. More wines from the vineyard are on the way, with bottling to continue as each one reaches its perfect moment.
